Connie, along with her husband, Jesse and 11 year old daughter, Chloe recently moved to Wichita from Northeast KS to serve as houseparents at Carpenter Place where their mission is to nurture deeply hurting girls to restored relationships with God, family, and community. After graduating from Baker University where Connie enjoyed playing volleyball for the Wildcats, she has taught business and technology classes in public schools the last 25 years. During her teaching career, Connie has coached volleyball at the middle school and high school level. She and her husband have 8 beautiful children, 1 grandchild, and two more on the way! Connie enjoys listening to Christian podcasts and music, sunshine, sports, flowers, food, and traveling. Connie is excited to share her love for Jesus and volleyball with these girls!
